The outcome were developed based on 2023 UK data on sales of sanitary towels, women's clothing, cosmetics and the number of housewives, visualised based on secondary data from the original study and four shapes were designed to represent the four forms of exposure to microplastic contamination in the female population (sanitary towel use, women's clothing, cosmetic use, and women's occupations). I referenced the data humanism proposed by Lupi to complete my work, recording data about my own personal life, which triggered the idea of combining personal stories with specific data, and I created stickers of these patterns, encouraging the audience to place the stickers on the visualised data icons based on their own life experiences. By interacting with the audience, I hope to have helped them understand the reason for the high levels of microplastic pollution in women's bodies.
